What to write about

• A question about a recipe: tell us which recipe (a link is perfect) and what happened, for example "my karahi turned watery" or "my dough didn't rise". The more detail, the more useful our answer.
• A correction: a wrong quantity, a confusing step, a translation that doesn't read naturally in Urdu, or a fact about a dish's history. We fix mistakes and update the page.
• A recipe request: a dish from your family, region or travels that you'd like to see explained step by step.
• Privacy: any question about data or cookies (see our privacy policy and cookie policy).
• Using our content: if you'd like to quote, share or republish a recipe or illustration, please ask first (see our terms).

Before you write

Many common questions are answered on the site already: the glossary explains cooking words like bhunai and dum, our technique guides cover the methods behind the recipes, and every recipe has kitchen notes and an FAQ at the end.
